Obituary for Roy Cranston

Peacefully surrounded by his family, at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in his 97th year. Loving husband for nearly 70 years of Bea (nee Hamilton). Wonderful and proud dad of Barb Watson, Doug Cranston (Pat Lawrence 2015), Joan Cranston and the late Scott Cranston (2008) (Janice). Devoted grandpa to Tyler and Max Cranston . Also remembered by his sister-in-law Helen Hamilton and many nieces, nephews and their families. Roy worked at Keeprite for 40 years and was a Past Master of Onondaga Masonic Lodge #519 A.F. & A.M.. Thank you to all the wonderful caregivers at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre and the kindness they showed Dad. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. with a Masonic Memorial Service to be held at 6:30 p.m. under the auspices of Onondaga Lodge #519. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
