I had the pleasure of working with Doug at the Tribunal, although we came from very different backgrounds we became close friends, after he retired I stayed in touch by phone or in person once or twice a year. I always called him on his Birthday, this year I did not get a response...now I know why. My sincere condolences to the family RIP Douglas
