Surrounded by his family, Donald passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in his 94th year. Survived by beloved wife Sylvia (nee Sutherland) of 68 years. Adored father of Randy (Marg), Deb Rush (Neil, 2011) and Terry. Cherished grandfather of Tammy Wilks (Jesse), Dustin, and great-granddaughter Sophia Wilks. Predeceased by father Lorne, mother Pearl, brothers Charles and Ron, and sister Fern. Donald was a war veteran and a retiree of Massey Ferguson, who will be remembered for his willingness to help others. Donald’s family wishes to thank the Nurses on Brantford General Hospital’s 7th floor, and the staff at Seasons Bell Lane, for their care and support. At Donald’s request, cremation has taken place. Family, friends and others whose lives Donald touched are invited to the Charing Cross Reception Suites adjacent to the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. for a celebration of his life. www.dennistoll.ca
